Life Is Not Always Fair
Life is not always fair,
It will have its ups and downs,
And the good times and the bad.
Life can be exciting and filled with joy,
Or life can be hard and filled with fright.
Life can be filled with many feelings,
The feelings could be confusing at times,
And at other times be clear.
Life will include many decisions,
And some will be major,
But most will be minor.
The decisions made during your life
Will take you down many paths.
The pathway of life you choose to take,
Will determine whether
Or not you will have
A good or bad life.
The decisions you make will
Carve your future and
The decisions you make can
Either help you or hurt you.

love the quotes
gotta add though
that life is NEVER fair
“fair” is a made up thing, a concept, a human attempt to find balance and reason in a confusing world
there is no fair
and I suggest that the choices we make that effect us are not just the things we decide to do, but more over, how we choose to BE with what the world hands us. granted one can make bad choices like becoming a psychokiller or civil servant, those choices would definately lead to suffering. How many people, though, chose to be apart of a war that engulfed them, or be washed out by tsunami, or stricken with drought. i dare say that most of the things that direct our life are well out of our control.
no, it is the choice of how to be when the world falls assunder
the only way to have a good life is to choose to have a good life regardless of circumstances
there are many folks born with silverspoons in their mouths that are as misserable as a new borns diaper.
and there are those who toil endlessly their whole lives for little or not and find contentment in this world.
neither of those paths are neccessarily chosen, but how to be IN them are.
then again, that would depend on what one considers a “good life”
Sometimes what does not seem right today leads to something tomorrow that we are thankful for. I can’t even count the times that I’ve been so glad things didn’t go the way I “thought” I wanted. So, in a way, I’m glad life is not fair.
