I read that poem many years ago and it helped tremendously in coming to terms with my husbands death 10 years ago, tho I still ask why? Now I am grieving for my beautiful daughter Gabrielle, who was lost to us in a freak flash flood on the island where she lived in Greece. I know now that she was , and still is, my reason , my season and my lifetime. The most gorgeous , outgoing , life and soul of any gathering and her family that she leaves behind, two sons ( one who nearly died with her ), two brothers, and six sisters and a mother who will never be the same. I hope the poem will give meaning to others who have loved and lost someone very dear to them. “You are in my heart ( I carry you in my heart ) “.
S: I’m so sorry your loved ones are no longer here with you in physical form. Though we carry our loved ones with us in our heart, I know that nothing can fill the void of having them actually here with us. None of us will live forever. We are all just passing through, so we must cherish the relationships we have for the time that the person is in our life, and we must live our lives to the fullest.
